Holidays in St. Martin
The Parish of St Martin is often described as the prettiest in Guernsey, it offers countryside accommodation in close proximity to the high cliffs of the south coast from where you can see Jersey on most days. Walkers will especially love the wild flowers that fill the hedge rows and cover cliff tops. Steep valleys lead down to coves and small beaches.
There are some fantastic eateries and even an award winning restaurant perched on the cliff at Jerbourg which serves a wonderful menu concentrating on a mix of Mediterranean and continental cuisine offering breathtaking views. The rugged coastline has several breathtaking bays. Petit Bot sits at the bottom of a steep valley, on the edge of St Martin and Forest, with fine sand on a falling tide. Saints Bay hosts another small fishing fleet. The painter Renoir is closely associated with Moulin Huet. His sketches of the bay are featured in several of his paintings.
