Liberation day - Friday 9th May 2008
Join islanders to celebrate the liberation from Occupying Forces during World War II. A Variety of activities and events are planned including a dazzling firework display over the harbour.

Seafood Special - July 2008
Delight in the special menus on offer in Guernsey in July celebrating the island’s finest fresh seafood and head to St Peter Port for the highlight of the festival, La Fete d’la Mair – an 8-day seafood extravaganza.

North Show and Battle of the Flowers - Friday 22nd – Saturday 23rd August 2008
A spectacular summer show in Saumarez Park with acres of family entertainment culminating in the classic ‘Battle of the Flowers’.

Guernsey Regatta - Sunday 31st August – Monday 8th September 2008
A 9-day long festival of boat races, amazing entertainment and gourmet dining leading up to the spectacular and very British ‘Last Night of the Proms’, broadcast live on the quayside big screen.

International Air Display - Sat 13th September 2008
A spectacular air show encompassing over sixty years of aircraft. Join the locals lining St Peter Port Harbour for a ringside view.

Gourmet Food Festival: Tennerfest - Wednesday 1st October – Wednesday 12th November 2008
The annual Tennerfest is a favourite with both locals and visitors for its mouth-watering menus on offer from just £10.
